Right to Hike, Inc. is proud to host the First Annual Ella's 5k and Fun Run. This event will take place on October 25th, 2008 at The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center. This beautiful facility is the perfect setting for this event with its scenic trails and commitment to protecting the environment. Meredith and Ella were some of the first visitors to these trails and they truly enjoyed their time there.

The 5k's route will take you on paved paths as well as a trail course. There are also a few hills incorporated into the run. This event will also host a 1 mile fun run and walk that is ideal for beginners and veterans alike. The entire fun run mile will be paved.  

Right to Hike, Inc. would like to encourage people to bring their dogs for both events.  For the 5k, runners without dogs will go first, followed by runners with their dogs. The fun run will then begin shortly after the 5k. The first group will begin at 8:00am. This is a perfect event in which the whole family can become involved.

Each participant in the 5k and Fun Run will receive a t-shirt. Participants who raise $100 and over will also receive a commemorative medal. Awards will be given to the top finishers. Also, each dog that participates will receive a special gift from Right to Hike, Inc.

* Family Fun Run Registration (4)     -$30
